ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS:
What equipment do you shoot with?
I have several cameras in my collection, which I use depending on the task, idea, and shooting style:
- main camera Sony a6700
- analog VHC camera (cassette-camera effect)
- digital DIGITAL camera (old point-and-shoot effect)
- RGB color light
What types of shoots do you do?
- individual shoots
- nude shoots
- love stories
- family and children shoots
- video reels
- commercial video content
- content for personal blogs
- product shooting (creative, NOT studio catalog)
I don’t have any ideas for my shoot, and I don’t know what/how or where I want to shoot?
2–3 days before the shoot, I will contact you to help with the personal concept and storyline, offer several ideas and ways to bring them to life, and together we will arrive at the ideal option.
I also send a moodboard for inspiration and help you choose outfits from your wardrobe, and if needed, we can add something from mine (or I can purchase a special prop for the shoot).
I know many unique and interesting locations in Bali with minimal people (or none at all). I will choose the most interesting places based on our idea and style, and I will also consider the tide schedule if it is a beach shoot, as unfortunately access to some locations depends heavily on the water level at the shooting time.
We will discuss the best shooting time (early morning or golden hour — these are prime-time hours in Bali).
I don’t know how to pose, I don’t like being photographed, and I don’t know what to do in front of the camera?
During the shoot, I gently guide you through the entire process and always help with posing.
In the beginning, it can feel a little uncomfortable for anyone, and that’s completely normal, but I promise that with every minute the magic of the process will begin to unfold, as I always feel each person very subtly and give them the time to open up and trust the process with care.
Shooting with me is always easy, enjoyable, and feels like we’ve known each other our whole life :)
The most important thing is to enjoy the moment and the experience, and the result will not leave you disappointed in your decision to do a shoot for yourself.
How should I prepare for the shoot?
It’s best to arrive at the shoot well-fed and to bring a bottle of water with you (at least 0.5 L).
If we are shooting early in the morning, make sure to bring SPF.
For makeup, I always recommend doing the look that feels familiar and comfortable to you, along with your light natural hairstyle (clean hair).
Bring a small mirror, a hairbrush, and a towel, as well as a swimsuit in case we decide to refresh in the ocean after the shoot if we are in that location :)
Please do not wear clothing that you would be upset to get wet or dirty in the sand (especially if we are shooting on black-sand beaches).
I want a photoshoot, but I don’t like the way I look right now (extra weight/acne, etc.)?
Every person in this world is beautiful.
These “imperfections” exist only in our mind. You can keep waiting for the “right moment, ” but the truth is that the right moment is now.
Thoughtful preparation for the shoot — from outfits and location to my vision and the light — will make everything come together so that you see yourself differently.
You will receive not just photographs, but emotions that will stay with you for a long time.
I do not apply heavy retouching, do not change faces or body shapes, turning you into someone else (but I do remove temporary skin imperfections, and I can gently smooth the tummy/arms and our beautiful feminine folds :) for the sake of harmony and aesthetics).
I stand for natural beauty and the subtle perception of the uniqueness of every wonderful person.
How soon will the photos be ready?
Depending on the package you choose, from 7 to 14 days after the shoot.
Does the shoot include a makeup artist or stylist?
The services of a makeup artist and stylist are not included in my shooting packages, but if needed, I can help you find a professional.
Do you provide the raw files (photo/video)?
I perceive photography and videography as art: from the idea and the styling to the final retouch. For me, it is a single canvas on which I create the mood, light, and story of each character.
For this reason, I generally do not provide raw materials: I do not want other “authors” to work on them and distort my style and color decisions.
If it is a commercial shoot for brands, this point is always discussed individually.
Do you do photoshoots only in Bali?
I have been living and creating in Bali for 3.5 years, but I am always open to interesting projects around the world.
